Love this article on one of my favourite films. write about my time in Antwerpen and the creative friends I had back then. I took one of them, a rather remarkable lady, to see Condorman, because of the combination of Crawford and Reed. My friend, being from another culture knew nothing of them, and her English was poor. She became overwhelmed halfway thru, so we left, me thinking it was because of the language and cultural differences. Later I discovered that it was because the storyline was somewhat akin to her own story...... She had hunted her sister's murderer in Siniai during the Egyptian Invasion, bringing the killer to justice. I had read the story earlier in the International press. Then to meet this very real-life superheroine was such an eye and heart opener....

I recently drafted this story (Three Sisters) for future inclusion In my new second stack....

BTW, Oliver Reed also played Anne Margaret's Boyfriend in the Who's epic film "Tommy". another one of the incredibly creative films of that wonderful Era.....

Keep up the good work, my friend, Maurice

Yes, there could be different edits. I saw it in French, but in Canada, so who knows :)

Saw it in the theatre. My friends and I loved it. Our favourite scene was one of the chase sequences. I am not sure what the exact dialogue would be in English, but it translates to something like "Pull over! We want your car!" We quoted that endlessly, and some of us are still known to quote it while driving on the highway. Once in a very great while :)

Do you remember who wanted whose car? I can't recall a scene like that in the film.

The bad guys wanted the Condorcar, if I remember.

I don't think that was in the copy I saw. Maybe it's a scene that got cut in some markets. Sounds kinda fun though 😀
